Description: Our Client, one of the leaders in metal manufacturing, is looking for an Electrical Reliability Lead in Evansville, IN.

Responsibilities:

• Improve the financial position by improving the reliability and cost to maintain assets;
• Directly supervise a semi-autonomous work group (5-8 persons) of condition monitoring technicians;
• Partner with Mechanical Reliability Lead (Peer) and Reliability Group Lead (direct Supervisor) to deliver business results;
• Own the electrical condition monitoring program;
• Include the planning, execution, interpretation of diagnostics, and partnering with department maintenance organizations to mitigate anomalies;
• Key liaison with outside vendors that support condition monitoring program;
• Lead problem solving, equipment design changes and equipment maintenance plan modifications to drive asset reliability;
• Track cost avoidance and KPIs that are key to improving business results;
• Educate and sell business leaders on opportunities.

Requirements:

• Experience in the heavy industry in Electrical Maintenance or Engineering (3+ years);
• Experience in quick comprehending of electrical systems and failure modes;
• High school diploma or GED equivalent;
• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or technical discipline (preferred);
• Leadership experience in a direct team (2+ years) (preferred);
• CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) certification – the candidate will be required to obtain certification in 12 months (preferred);
• PdM technology certifications in IR, UE, MCA. The candidate will need to be level I in each of these technologies in 18 months. Level II in one (preferred).
