Description: Our Client, a specialty chemicals company, is hiring a Process Engineer in Arkansas City, AR or Louisville, KY.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects under the guidance of the Product Technology Group Manager;
• Process implementation, improvement and production optimization;
• Ensure proper utilization Management of Change procedures;
• Ensure proper utilization of the New Product Commercialization Process;
• Measure Product Quality, Process Capability, Yield, etc. utilizing various Statistical Process Control techniques;
• Improve process efficiencies including First Pass Quality, Productivity, and Safety;
• Provide plant support by coordinating and following new products with R&D from inception through product commercialization and full production hand off to manufacturing;
• Develop Process and Procedure Documentation and Operator Training Materials;
• Work closely with ESHA department to ensure appropriate safety, health and environmental factors are considered and adhered to throughout all aspects of the product development to commercialization process.

Requirements:

• Experience in process management (2-4+ years);
• Experience with computers;
• Experience with SAP (preferred);
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Engineering discipline.
