Description: Our Client, a medical technology company, is looking for a R&D Senior Engineer in Franklin Lakes, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to a project of considerable significance or leads smaller scope projects;
• Support material / design / process changes to the product line through design control process, with well-documented research / analyses;
• Demonstrate accountability for successful and timely completion of designated tasks;
• Develop technical solutions to complex problems using sound engineering principles, utilizing experimental, computational and analytical methods;
• Design and develop in vivo and in vitro models to evaluate product features & improvements;
• Develop robust test methods, design test fixtures and execute measurement system analysis;
• Plan, executes and analyzes design of experiments (DOE);
• Write implements and leads bench studies, tolerance stack up analysis, design verification, validation, vendor interactions, materials specifications and component specifications;
• Perform data analysis using statistical tools, regression analyses and develop transfer functions;
• Collect, record, report, interpret and analyze data, present results to peers and business leadership;
• Provide advanced engineering skills and product evaluation support to the platform toward building business cases for new opportunities.

Requirements:

• Experience in the technical area (3+ years);
• Experience in solid modeling (Pro/E,  SolidWorks or equivalent);
• Experience with Microsoft Project
• Experience with Six Sigma (DMAIC)
• Bachelor's / Master's / PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
