Description: Our Client, a wholesale electricity supplier, and the world leader in generating renewable energy, is hiring a Construction Manager to work in Lexington, OK.


• Coordinate and manage construction work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site;
• Assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality and safety performance on the project;
• Manage walk downs of planned work, validate acceptance of completed work to design requirements, approve contractor payment requests, verify constructability, ensure proper resource allocations, assess field status and resolve issues as needed;
• Be responsible for scope control, budget oversight, performance reporting, schedules and work in progress to ensure Construction Supervisors are effectively implementing their assignments and obtaining the desired results;
• Provide leadership and coaching to Construction Supervisors and supplemental workforce, communicating departmental, station and division goals and validating each performer’s ability to impact those goals.


• Engineering or principal contractor experience;
• Experience in construction of Wind Farms and/or other energy infrastructure projects including large civil on green field sites;
• Experience in the design and construction of wind farms (10-15 years);
• Uncompromising focus on safety;
• Leadership experience with strong focus on team-building and stakeholder management;
• Accountable decision maker;
• Experience managing technical and commercial matters;
• Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy;
• Understanding of contracts, schedules, documentation management;
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and interface and prioritize accordingly;
• Valid driver's license.
