Description: Our Client, a commodities trading company, is looking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor in Lake Odessa, MI.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of maintenance responsibilities;
• Assess and initiate opportunities for improvement;
• Create and promote a team-building environment that promotes stakeholder engagement, innovation, and safety;
• Responsible for overall plant maintenance including scheduling, planning, prioritizing work, purchasing, employee supervision, training and development;
• Responsible for managing capital projects and supervision of contractors.

Requirements:

• Experience with project management or supervisor in food operation / processing and/or manufacturing environments (2+ years);
• Working knowledge of processing plant / equipment;
• Basic understanding of spreadsheets and databases;
• Engineering degree.
