Description: Our Client, a wholesale electricity supplier, and the world leader in generating renewable energy, is hiring a Senior Project Engineer to work in Juno Beach, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Support wind farm design and construction;
• Manage 3rd party contractor teams to develop engineering designs for both green-field wind projects and wind repowering’s;
• Manage projects from initial concept definition to construction and final commissioning;
• Provide continuous coordination with diverse project stakeholders such as environmental, procurement, transmission services, and project managers for both early stage and construction;
• Negotiate critical and controversial issues with top level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies;
• Demonstrate a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning, organizing, and guiding extensive engineering programs and activities;
• Manage one or more programs of complex diversity and scope which are of critical importance to overall company objectives;
• Act as a subject matter expert;
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience applying value engineering to balance reliability, cost, and performance for complex systems, along with thorough knowledge of the various applicable engineering disciplines including electrical, structural, civil, and materials (7+ years);
• Experience coordinating project stakeholders and mobilizing teams of engineers to achieve business objectives (7+ years);
• Experience successfully managing schedules and budgets for major capital projects (7+ years);
• Valid driver's license;
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering;
• Professional Engineering certification strongly preferred.
