Description: Our Client, a healthcare organization, is looking to hire an Operational Audit Manager to work for our Client in New York, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Lead operational audits and financial statements;
• Collaborate with colleagues across the organization in administrative, operational, financial and clinical functions while effectively managing multiple responsibilities;
• Report to the Internal Audit Director and manage multiple engagement teams of two to four auditors;
• Identify and assess operational, compliance and financial risks across every area of the company;
• Develop, implement and manage the audit work program followed by test work performed in the field to evaluate risk mitigation efforts of the company;
• Analyze hospital operations and perform root cause analysis to help improve operational effectiveness;
• Communicate audit results to Management which contributes to and enhances the patient experience.

Requirements:

• Experience in audit or accounting in a major hospital, healthcare network, or large to mid-size audit firm (7-9 years);
• Experience with the analytical techniques and tools needed to solve problems;
• Experience with the standards of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and ability to fully comply with IIA Standards;
• Experience in management (preferred);
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA);
• Master’s degree required, or relevant experience in healthcare accounting or auditing.
