Description: Our Client, a healthcare organization, is looking to hire a Manager – Non-Government Billing in Santa Barbara, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the billing and commercial follow up areas in Patient Financial Services this includes billing of all accounts, and follow-up of inpatient and outpatient accounts receivable within any commercial vendor / program;
• Ensure complete, accurate and timely follow up and collection of outstanding government accounts receivable for hospital services rendered;
• Participate in other management activities including but not limited to short and long range planning processes, and budget development and implementation.

Requirements:

• Patient Accounting and/or Admitting experience (5 years);
• Experience with Medicare and Medi-Cal payors in a healthcare environment (2 years);
• Management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (2 years);
• Bachelor’s degree.
