Description: Our Client, a government agency, is hiring a Senior Windows Administrator in Palm Beach, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain / upgrade existing systems;
• Design / deploy new technologies while adhering to best practices and business level objectives;
• Assist in integration and documentation of new applications and technologies;
• 24/7 Rotational On-Call Support.

Requirements:

• Experience with Active Directory & Group Policies;
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services (PKI);
• Experience with Windows Failover Clustering, File Services, DFS;
• Experience with Microsoft Server 2008 R2 through Server 2016 – OS installation / configuration;
• Experience with on-premise Microsoft Exchange 2013 or 2016;
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere 6) including VMotion, VDI, SRM, etc;
• Experience with scripting / coding languages (PowerShell, Batch, Visual Basic, Visual C#);
• Experience in development and execution of PowerShell scripts to automate IT tasks and processes;
• Experience with Forefront Identity Management or similar technologies (preferred);
• Enterprise System Monitoring, Log Management and Event Analysis – Solarwinds Orion and/or Microsoft Operations Manager (SCOM) (preferred);
• Enterprise Patching, Software, and OS Image Deployment – Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) or similar technologies (preferred);
• Microsoft SQL Server (2008 through 2017) – Clustering & Always On, Query and Report Building (preferred);
• Dell Server Technologies including Blades / Chassis (preferred);
• Multi-Site Data Center Operations (preferred);
• Basic networking (VLANs, subnetting, high availability NIC configuration) (preferred);
• Application level hardware load balancers (preferred).
