Description: Our Client, a government agency, is looking to hire a Technology Research Analyst in Tallahassee, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Program’s business processes for implementing solutions in SAP;
• Provide expertise in business rule administration, assisting in the definition of business rules, evaluation of how those rules are encoded in an appropriate repository, and the ongoing maintenance of those rules;
• Coordinate system development activities for CAMS, including but not limited to: 1) high level enterprise design, and 2) low level requirements, functional and technical specifications;
• Coordinates and participates in the review of CAMS project deliverables associated with design requirements, development and implementation;
• Assists in the development and critical review of appropriate work flows, forms, and design documents that describe proposed and/or implemented system functionality;
• Applies industry standard quality assurance measures and metrics to DDI artifacts;
• Assist in User Acceptance testing as needed;
• Perform Knowledge Share sessions upon request;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience in information technology with experience in business process reengineering, requirements development, and system design or experience in data base management (4+ years);
• Experience with enterprise IT systems and architecture;
• Experience assisting in the development and analysis of requirements for the enterprise and the application of appropriate technologies in their support;
• Experience assisting in the implementation of new technology;
• Experience performing functional analysis of SAP;
• Experience applying system solutions to business problems through the design and programming of automated systems;
• Knowledge of data resource management principles and techniques including data administration, data modeling, entity-relationship modeling, data definition, and data dictionaries;
• Knowledge of logical or conceptual data modeling and translation to a physical model;
• Knowledge of data oriented business rule administration;
• Knowledge of methods of data collection and analysis;
• Experience in data conversion activities, including data cleansing principles and practices and data mapping;
• Ability to understand and perform development testing related tasks associated with data migration and cleansing;
• Experience identifying and resolving data flow and content issues;
• Experience collecting, evaluating and analyzing data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow and other activities relating to improvement of operational and management practices;
• Experience organizing data into logical formats;
• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), or 1 year system’s experience for each year of required education.
