Description: Our Client, a government agency, is looking to hire a Business Intelligence Specialist in Hauppauge, NY.


• Provide a full range of business intelligence services;
• Focus on the evaluation of data for the purposes of properly extracting, transforming, and presenting the data into the STAT program and Sisense BI platform;
• Comply with the Government security, Section 508 and architecture requirements;
• Provide services including (but not limited to) data / system inventory, evaluation, data gap analysis, design, portal development, monitoring, requirements analysis, architecture, graphic design, coding, quality assurance testing and deployment;
• Interact with the county project manager, enterprise system project management staff, other contractors, product vendors, and management.


• Experience analyzing data for the purposes of developing dashboard reporting;
• Experience working with business users to developing requirements documentation;
• Experience working with a wide array of RDBMS’ including Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Oracle, Progress, and MySQL;
• Experience developing extraction, transformation and load (ETL) routines to populate data warehouse and data marts;
• Experience with data mining and data analytics;
• Understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and methods to implement;
• Knowledge of the Sisense Business Intelligence technology stack;
• Experience developing business intelligence reports in Sisense.
