Description: Our Client, a hospital management company, is hiring a Human Resources Director in Fremont, CA.


• Provide HR consultation support for 400 employees on a variety HR-related topics;
• Be responsible for recruitment, selection (in collaboration with hiring manager), on boarding of new staff;
• Analyze and interprets sensitive internal and external ER activities;
• Identify training needs for staff;
• Ensure that HR files are in compliance with regulatory bodies;
• Develop and interpret HR policy and Employee Handbooks;
• Provide orientation;
• Communicate best practices and oversee select vendor relationships for HR;
• Perform other duties as assigned / required.


• HR experience in a leadership role, preferably in a behavioral health hospital environment (3-5 years);
• Experience managing issues that require timely management / oversight;
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws;
• Ability to maintain sensitive employee information as confidential;
• Knowledge of Lawson, Microsoft Office, etc;
• Strong HR generalist and full cycle recruitment background;
• Bachelor's degree required;
• PHR or SPHR certification highly preferred.
