Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Experience in database administration for the following database platforms (5+ years):
Experience with GIS and spatial databases (specifically PostgreSQL and Oracle)
Experience SQL Server 2012 and above
Experience Oracle 19c and above
Experience with managing ArcGIS for Server, ArcGIS Enterprise, and cloud-hosted GIS services (e.g., ArcGIS Online, Azure GIS integrations).
• Experience with the principles, practices and techniques of relational database management systems
• Experience with Relational Database Management
• Experience with ESRI SDE Geodatabases
• Experience in customer service
• Experience in analyzing processes and workflows to design efficient database solutions
• Experience in preparing complex database specifications
• Experience in designing relational databases
• Experience in interpreting and communicating technical information related to computer programming and data processing, both verbally and in writing

Preferred:
• Experience with Azure SQL

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Daily operational and database administration activities
• Plan, design, implement, support for database structures
• Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning
• Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation
• Perform SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL Code reviews
• Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff This resource may also be required to perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested.
